Upon assuming the chairmanship of FFC, I thought back over the past 20 years that my husband and I have been associated with Futures. Native American students have always faced challenges and no less so now. Futures for Children’s mission is to help improve the quality of the educational experience for American Indian students through leadership development and mentoring. I look forward to working with the FFC Board and Teresa Gomez, our new CEO, to help fulfill this mission. With the help of our many friends and supporters, I am confident that we can continue to positively impact the lives of Native students in the many communities which we serve.
